The Dolphins are one of only two unbeaten teams in the NFL after Sunday’s 21-19 upset over the Buffalo Bills in the scorching Florida heat. On Thursday, Miami will head to Cincinnati to face a Bengals club that hammered the Jets 27-12 in Week 3 for their first victory of the season.

Are the Fins for real?
Miami is a 3-point road underdog despite their undefeated record. Mike McDaniel’s club was incredibly lucky to get the W on Sunday. Buffalo won the yardage battle 497-212, picking up 31 first downs and only punting once on eight drives. Yet, they only scored 19 points after a series of blunders. Fumbles, mishandled snaps, dropped TDs, missed throws, you name it. Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey was frustrated, to say the least.
According to NFL Research, the Bills had the highest time of possession in a non-overtime loss since 2014. The Dolphins defense played an otherworldly 90 snaps and was on the field for almost 41 minutes in the South Florida sun.

Joe Burrow set to feast?
Zac Taylor opened up the offense in Week 3, only calling one first-quarter run against the Jets. His reward? Joe Burrow tossed a career-high 163 passing yards with two touchdowns in the opening frame. Joe Cool finished with 275 yards, 3 TDs and no picks while only getting sacked twice. However, will his protection hold up on Thursday? Per Next Gen Stats, Miami’s D registered 20 QB pressures, 10 QB hits and four sacks on Sunday, generating a 29.9 pressure percentage.
The Dolphins blitzed Allen on 34.3% of dropbacks. That might not work against the defending AFC Champions. Last year, Burrow threw 12 TDs and 5 INTs when blitzed, grading out as PFF’s best QB under fire. Cincinnati’s savior also went 5-of-13 for 97 yards and three TDs under pressure in Sunday’s 27-12 win.

Did Tua suffer a concussion?
A hit from Bills linebacker Matt Milano knocked Tua Tagovailoa out of Sunday’s game. But despite appearing wobbly and concussed, the third-year starter returned for the second half. The team described it as “a lower-back injury” after the game, so Tua can be expected to suit up on Thursday night.
One week after connecting with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle for a combined 22 receptions, 361 yards and four scores, Tua managed only 186 yards and a touchdown in Week 3. Tyreek was held to just 2 catches and 33 yards. Undeterred, he called out Bengals corner Eli Apple in his post-game press conference.

“Looking forward to the challenge. It’s going to be fun. I can’t wait to go against Eli Apple. I owe you boy. I owe you. I’m here. The Cheetah is here.”
Best Bet
Mike McDaniel’s Dolphins have been one of the best and most-entertaining developments of the NFL season. But they’re in a terrible spot here, traveling to Cincinnati on a short week after a big divisional win against the Bills.
Miami won’t have enough left in the tank to defeat a hungry Bengals team looking to move to .500 after a rough 0-2 start.
Final Score Prediction: Cincinnati 30, Dolphins 21
