Eagles favored to go back-to-back
Philadelphia (+600) signed Saquon Barkley to a record-setting extension, making him the highest-paid running back in NFL history. The reigning champs also released cornerback Darius Slay and traded safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson to Houston. The keys of the Eagles secondary now belong to sophomores Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.
After getting pasted in the Super Bowl, Kansas City (+650) shipped guard Joe Thuney to Chicago and slapped the franchise tag on guard Trey Smith. Baltimore (+700) extended left tackle Ronnie Stanley and brought in DeAndre Hopkins. Buffalo (+750) reworked Josh Allen’s deal, giving him the most guaranteed money ($250M) in NFL history. They also re-signed defensive end Greg Rousseau and inked injury-prone DE Joey Bosa.

Fringe contenders
Detroit (+1000) has been quiet in free agency following their disappointing loss to Washington (+1700) in the Divisional Round. After upsetting the Lions to reach the NFC Championship Game, the Commanders brought in Deebo Samuel from San Francisco (+1300), providing another weapon for Jayden Daniels.
With franchise quarterback Joe Burrow watching intently, Cincinnati (+1800) franchise tagged Tee Higgins. However, the Bengals have yet to lock up Ja’Marr Chase to a long-term deal.
Super Bowl longshots
Green Bay (+2100) signed guard Aaron Banks to help shore up their run game but have yet to add their receiving corps. If Jordan Love can make a leap in his third year as a starter, the Packers could claim the NFC North and compete with the Eagles in the postseason.
Houston (+3100) made the curious move to ship five-time Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil to Washington. But if their revamped offensive line holds up for CJ Stroud, the Texans could be a sneaky bet to win the Super Bowl. With blue chip players at edge rusher (Will Anderson) and cornerback (Derek Stingley), DeMeco Ryans’ defense is downright nasty. The team also hired offensive coordinator Nick Caley from the Sean McVay tree.

Best Bet
Following weeks of trade rumors, the Los Angeles Rams (+2600) handed Matthew Stafford a brand new deal before bringing in Davante Adams to form a deadly combination with Puka Nacua. Sean McVay’s offense should be much improved, and Les Snead keeps hitting home runs in the draft. Over the past two years alone, the Rams GM has completely rebuilt his defense line with Jared Verse, Braden Fiske and Kobie Turner.
Don’t forget as well that Los Angeles had the ball in Eagles territory late in the fourth-quarter of their 28-22 divisional round loss to Philadelphia. If you’re looking for a longshot, you could do worse than wager on the NFL’s best-run franchise to win the Super Bowl in 2026.
