While eight teams are set to compete in the Divisional Round this weekend, there’s even more intrigue and drama off the field. Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson have all dropped hints that they may be playing elsewhere next season.
Before we examine possible landing spots for the star quarterbacks in 2023, here’s where you can find the best Super Bowl betting tips and the top betting sites for NFL football in 2022.
Where will Tom Brady play in 2023?

Brady’s final destination
Tom Brady is favored to return to the Buccaneers (+200) despite saying his goodbyes to local reporters on Monday night. Tampa Bay fired offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich on Friday. A sign the organization is trying to appease the seven-time Super Bowl champion or an overdue move that’s come far too late?
Brady has long-time ties to Josh McDaniels and Las Vegas (+250) has already dumped Derek Carr. The 45-year-old could also be interested in returning to his hometown of San Francisco (+350). For that to happen, seventh-round rookie Brock Purdy would need to implode in the playoffs. A return to New England (+750) seems implausible, however, don’t rule out another AFC East squad. Miami (+750) ownership tried to court Brady last year and Tua Tagovailoa may have played his last game due to concussion issues.

Rodgers’ next team
Aaron Rodgers is certainly no stranger to offseason drama. Oddsmakers expect the 39-year-old to stay in Green Bay (-150), but the organization is in between a rock and a hard place. Rumors have surfaced that backup Jordan Love will request a trade if the four-time NFL MVP returns to Lambeau. In addition, GM Brian Gutekunst has to decide this offseason whether to pick up his fifth-year option.
A recent article by Danny Heifetz of The Ringer pointed out that “once Rodgers gets his $58 million roster bonus by Week 1 of the 2023 season, he will be essentially untradable.” The time is now for the Packers to move on from the future Hall of Famer. A reunion with his buddy Davante Adams on the Raiders (+400) makes sense. But, how about following the path of Brett Favre 15 years ago? The Jets (+1200) are the most-ready-to-win franchise on the board.

Lamar could bolt Baltimore
Lamar Jackson wasn’t even on Baltimore’s sideline during their 24-17 wild card loss to Cincinnati. This raised questions as to whether the former MVP was still dealing with a knee injury or just protecting himself for a massive offseason payday.
The Ravens (-220) can still place the franchise tag on the 26-year-old. But without striking a long-term deal (which Jackson reportedly wants fully guaranteed), the team could find themselves in the same awful spot next season.

Speculation is that Lamar wants out, but his ideal landing spot is unclear. After all, almost any team could use the dual-threat superstar. Jackson would be a perfect fit for Arthur Smith’s run-heavy attack in Atlanta (+700).
The Falcons pursued Deshaun Watson last summer, as did New Orleans (+3000). While the Saints are missing their 2023 first-round pick, you can’t count out an aggressive franchise that’s always trying to win now.
