Oddsmakers are already offering a number of betting markets, including props on the No. 1 overall pick, who will be the first players drafted at their positions, and landing spots for many of the top prospects.

Before examining the odds and making our picks, here’s where you can findΒ the top betting sites for NFL football in 2023.

Stroud, Young or Richardson?

CJ Stroud (-285) is widely believed to be the first-overall pick after the Panthers’ brain trust couldn’t keep their hands off the young Buckeye at Ohio State’s Pro Day. However, the most recent NBA Draft and NHL Draft shows there is tremendous value in betting underdogs after both Paolo Banchero and Juraj Slafkovsky paid off long odds.

Bryce Young (+225) was the favorite before Carolina moved up for the No. 1 selection. And, respected draftniks such as NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah and Michael Lombardi believe the Alabama star is the best prospect in the class. There’s also Anthony Richardson (+900), whose odds surged from as high as 100-to-1 to 3-to-1 following an eye-popping performance at the 2023 NFL Draft Combine. While Stroud or Young probably go first, it’s not a bad idea to bet on Richardson’s profound upside in case the Panthers do the same.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba a safe bet?

While Will Anderson Jr. (-325) looks like a lock for 1st Defensive Player Selected after Jalen Carter’s legal troubles, many of the other positional betting battles could go either way. At cornerback, it’s Christian Gonzalez (-210) vs. Devon Witherspoon (+175). For 1st offensive linemen, there’s Paris Johnson Jr. (-125), Peter Skoronski (+145) and Broderick Jones (+475). And, tight end comes down to Michael Mayer (-135), Dalton Kincaid (+175), or Darnell Washington (+350).

Ohio state receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (-210) saw his odds shorten significantly after flashing impressive agility at the combine. But, don’t lock in that wager just yet. One of the sharpest NFL Draft bettors around, Anthony Amico, believes there’s a disconnect between market sentiment and NFL decision makers. Zay Flowers (+350) is slowly gaining steam, whileΒ Quentin Johnson (+500), Jordan Addison (+900), or Jalin Hyatt (+2000) can’t be counted out just yet.

Longshots for the Longhorn

Most pundits believe Bijan Robinson is a better prospect than Saquon Barkley, who was famously selected second overall by Dave Gettleman’s Giants in the 2018 NFL Draft. Yet, no one is quite sure where Bijan will land with “the running backs don’t matter” narrative alive and well, and a glut of star RBs like Dalvin Cook and Derrick Henry reportedly available to the highest bidder.

Dallas (+500), Washington (+500) and the Los Angeles Chargers (+500) are currently the chalk picks for the Longhorns stud. While Jerry Jones just released Ezekiel Elliott, not many expect Robinson to be available at #26, so the Commanders make more sense at #16.

Best bet for Bijan

No one likes to run the ball more than Falcons coach Arthur Smith. Following a faulty decision to move forward with Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke at quarterback, Atlanta (+800) could grab Bijan at No. 8 overall. Howie Roseman and the Eagles (+750) are also lurking at No. 10 with the Saints extra pick and a wide open Super Bowl window.
