- Monday Night Football on ESPN kicks off from Lincoln Financial Field on November 14 at 8:15pm ET
Jalen Hurts has led the Eagles to their first 8-0 start in franchise history. The 2022 NFL MVP frontrunner threw for 340 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-8 steamrolling of Washington back in Week 3. For the rematch, Philadelphia will welcome a Commanders club quarterbacked by Taylor Heinicke to Lincoln Financial Field on Monday night.

Can Philly be stopped?
The Eagles are coming off their least impressive effort of the season. A 29-17 victory over the terrible Texans on Thursday Night Football. Overcoming a sluggish first half, Hurts passed for 243 yards and two scores in his Houston homecoming, winning his 11th consecutive regular-season start.
Clearly missing rookie defensive tackle Jordan Davis, Philadelphia’s defense permitted rookie Dameon Pierce to rack up 139 yards on 27 carries. However, Washington has struggled to run the ball all season, averaging only 108 yards per game.

Washington let a fourth-straight victory slip through their fingers, blowing a 17-7 lead over Minnesota last Sunday. Taylor Heinicke was just 15-for-28 for 149 yards with a devastating fourth-quarter interception that led to the 20-17 loss.
As a bottom-10 offensive team, the Commanders could struggle to keep up with a high-flying Eagles attack that ranks second in the NFL in points per game (28.1) and fourth in total yards (391.0).
Eagles vs Commanders
Philadelphia is an 11-point home favorite over Washington on Monday night and the over/under is set at 44 total points. Nick Siriani’s squad is 4-0 against the spread in its last four games at Lincoln Financial Field while Ron Rivera’s club is 3-0-1 ATS in their past four games.
The Commanders are slightly above average against the pass and the run, while the Eagles have been killing opponents through the air and on the ground all year. A.J. Brown has five touchdowns in his past three games. And he gobbled up Jack Del Rio’s secondary in Week 3, making five receptions for 85 yards and a score.
You think the Titans may be regretting trading AJ Brown? 😬

The 8-0 Eagles showed signs of vulnerability last Thursday and the Commanders have been feisty this season. But, with ten days rest, Philadelphia should be flying on all cylinders against a Washington team still trying to get over a close loss to the Vikings.
Jalen Hurts has the league’s No. 2 passer rating (107.8) after throwing eight passing TDs and no picks in the past three games. And we know what kind of damage he can do on the ground. The 24-year-old has rushed for 1,464 yards and 19 rushing scores in less than three full seasons as a starter. Look for the NFL MVP contender to author another big primetime performance on Monday night and keep his team undefeated.
Final Score Prediction: Philadelphia 31, Commanders 17
