- The Philadelphia Eagles (9-1) are touchdown favorites over the Green Bay Packers (4-7) in Week 12
- Jalen Hurts has the third-most rushing touchdowns (21) by a quarterback in his first three seasons in NFL history
- NBC’s Sunday Night Football kicks off from Lincoln Financial Field on November 27 at 8:20pm ET
Less than four days after reviving their playoff hopes, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers came crashing down to earth against the Tennessee Titans last Thursday. Green Bay now heads to Philadelphia to take on a 9-1 Eagles team that narrowly survived against the Colts on Sunday.

Philly running on fumes?
The seas parted for Jalen Hurts on a fourth-quarter touchdown scamper that gave Philadelphia a 17-16 victory over Indianapolis on Sunday. However, the Eagles’ offense struggled for most of the day, turning the ball over twice and failing to maintain drives. All and all, it was a questionable performance against the laughingstock Colts, especially after a 32-21 loss to Washington in Week 10. Nonetheless, Nick Sirianni was glad to get the win over the franchise that fired his mentor Frank Reich the previous week.
Green Bay was expected to be one of the few tough games on Philly’s schedule. Instead, they’re just 4-7 and out of the NFC playoff race after a 27-17 defeat to Tennessee on Thursday Night Football. Aaron Rodgers took responsibility for the loss at Lambeau Field, admitting he “threw a lot of kinda wobblers.”

Can Rodgers rebound?
With a full 10 days rest following last Thursday’s game, the two-time reigning MVP should have his fastball back on Sunday night at Lincoln Financial Field. Rodgers will look to maintain his connection with rookie receiver Christian Watson, who has five touchdowns on six catches over the past two games. However, Philly’s lockdown corners, Darius Slay and James Bradberry, are allowing the second-fewest passing yards per game (178.4)
Green Bay will be better off pounding the rock with Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon against a middling Eagles run D that has been carved up on the ground in recent weeks.
Eagles vs Packers
Philadelphia is a 7-point home favorite on Sunday Night Football, with the over-under set at 46.5 points. The Eagles are still the NFL’s fourth-highest scoring squad (26.3 ppg), despite scoring just 17 points versus Indy last week and 21 against the Commanders in Week 11. But, Green Bay is averaging the seventh-fewest points per game in the league (18.4).
Despite leading his team to a 9-1 record, Jalen Hurts has fallen behind Patrick Mahomes in the NFL MVP race after a couple mediocre starts. And without tight end Dallas Goedert, he is down a key weapon in the passing game. The dual-threat QB ran for 86 yards and a TD in Sunday’s win, and the Packers’ bottom-10 run D is certainly vulnerable on the ground.

Best Bet
Green Bay proved its mettle against another NFC East club just two weeks ago, upsetting the Cowboys 31-28. However, that kind of positive showing has been rare for a Packers team plagued by the same problems all year.
Even though Philadelphia has looked pedestrian in recent weeks, we think the Eagles get back on track with a big home win that covers the 7-point spread.
Final Score Prediction: Philadelphia 28, Packers 20
