The early bird gets the page views! With Super Bowl 52 committed to the history books, it’s time to flash forward to February 2019. A multitude of significant moves are going to be made in the offseason; the numbers below can and will change before the ball is ever snapped on the 2018 season. Several teams are in search of a quarterback, and there are a handful of potential franchise pivots available in the draf plus a few notable names heading to free agency. Oh, and there’s also one Super Bowl hero who (a) has no chance to be his team’s starting quarterback and (b) could fetch a tidy sum on the trade market.

Odds Tom Brady retires before the 2018 season: 99/1
The TB12 diet will allow him to play until he’s paying the discount rate at the movie theater, and the drive is clearly still there. The Super Bowl 52 loss only cements the reality that Brady is going to run it back for at least one more year. Plus, you have to think the Pats were confident in getting at least a couple more years out of Brady when they dealt Jimmy Garoppolo to the 49ers.

Foles is under contract for 2018, and he showed exactly how valuable a solid (understatement of the century) backup QB is in this league. How badly do you think the Cardinals wanted someone Foles-like when Carson Palmer went down? But, at the same time, Foles’ value is never going to be higher. Philly GM Howie Roseman has a chance to surround Carson Wentz with even more talent than he already has, which is, to be clear, an immense amount. This is how you build a dynasty. If I know that, you can be darn sure Roseman, arguably the best executive in the NFL, knows it a thousand times over.
