Monday Night Football NFC Battle Bears vs 49ers

Both Bears and 49ers need to bounce back after lousy performances last week as they clash in the NFL week 11 Monday night football, at 8:20 PM ET at Candlestick park.

Monday Night Football NFC Battle Bears vs 49ersChicago was dismantled by the Texans at home last week and lost their quarterbacks Jay Cutler for this game because of a concussion. Jason Campbell will be the starter.

“He’s comfortable in the pocket, comfortable calling the plays,” center Roberto Garza said. “Look at his track record. That speaks for itself. There’s a reason why he’s here, and there’s a reason why he’s in the situation he’s in.

“He probably should be starting somewhere. He’s that type of player. Unfortunately, we’re in this situation, but he’s gonna step in there”.

The Niners have also questions about the quarterback Alex Smith, who also suffered from a concussion against the Rams last week; however, Smith is likely to play.

“I feel good, better,” Smith said. “I’m just going along with the process right now. Nothing’s been decided. It’s a whole long process that’s up to the doctors. I just kind of do what they tell me. Contact obviously is the final straw”.

Expect a defensive matchup where the team that makes fewer mistakes will win; both defenses love to steal the ball, and they know how to do it.

Chicago is 0-5 straight up and against the spread in its last 5 games when playing on the road against San Francisco. Also, the 49ersare 12-4-1 ATS in its last 17 games at home.
