Updated 2021 NFL MVP Futures Heading Into Week 11

Josh Allen had a bounce back performance in Week 10 of the 2021 NFL season. Allen and the Buffalo Bills lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9, but the team came back in Week 10 to crush the NY Jets by a score of 45-17. The Bills are big favorites to beat the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11.

Tom Brady lost some ground in the MVP conversation with back-to-back losses to the New Orleans Saints and Washington Football Team. Brady is without Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski due to injury, but he’s not someone to count out for an MVP year. Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are enormous favorites over the NY Giants in Week 11.

NFL MVP Odds Update

Moving up the board

Josh Allen had a solid outing against the Jets. He went 21-28 and threw for 366 yards with two touchdowns. Allen’s stats for the season have him connecting at 66.3 percent for 2,620 passing yards. Allen has thrown 19 touchdown passes and six interceptions. The Buffalo QB’s performance against the Jets cut his odds to +250 to win the 2021 NFL MVP award. Dak Prescott made a huge jump up the MVP rankings in Week 10. Prescott was +1200 to start the week, but after a game where he lit up the Atlanta Falcons for 296 yard and two touchdowns on a 24-31 day, Prescott dropped to +650. If there were questions about Prescott’s health, he put them to rest with a big win in Week 10.

No one made a move like Patrick Mahomes did in Week 10. Mahomes looked like something of an afterthought as the season reached its midpoint. In Week 8, the Kansas City quarterback was listed at +4000 to win the NFL MVP. He had improved to +2800 to enter Week 10. Heading into Week 11, Mahomes is now listed at +900. He’s still a longshot, but Mahomes is going to get some consideration if he keeps heading in the right direction.
