As the 2021 NFL season ticks down, the focus turns from teams who have been eliminated from playoff contention (Jacksonville, Detroit, Houston, NY Jets and Chicago Bears) to those who have locked up a playoff spot (Green Bay) and are in position to secure a place in the 2021 NFL playoffs with a win during Week 16.
If the season ended today, the AFC would have Kansas City, New England, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Los Angeles Chargers and Buffalo in the running for Super Bowl 56. As for the NFC, Dallas, Tampa Bay, Arizona, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco would join Green Bay in the hunt for the Lombardi Trophy.
The 2021 NFL season is getting very interesting and with no more by weeks on the schedule, every team will play in the last few weeks on the campaign.
Before we look at all the Week 16 money lines, totals and point spreads, here’s where you can find the top betting sites for NFL football in 2021, as well as NFL MVP betting resources.
NFL Week 16 – Saturday Slate
Indianapolis vs. Arizona
- Date & Location: Saturday, December 25 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona
- Time: 8:15 p.m ET
- How to Watch: NFL Network
Things went from bad to worse for the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15. Not only did the team drop two in a row for the first time in the 2021 season, but they lost to the Detroit Lions, who entered the contest with a record of 1-11-1. What made things even more frightening is that the Lions were up 17-0 at the half.
Meanwhile. the Indianapolis Colts put an end to the New England Patriots‘ seven-game winning streak with a 27-17 home win over the Pats.
Arizona is struggling at a time when no team can afford a dip in output. I think the Colts and the running game of league leading rusher Jonathan Taylor will be too much for the Cardinals to handle.

Pick Indianapolis to win.
NFL Week 16 – Sunday Slate
Los Angeles Rams vs. Minnesota
- Date & Location: Sunday, December 26 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN
- Time: 1:00 p.m ET
- How to Watch: FOX
The Minnesota Vikings have not won three games in a row this season. They are on a two-game winning streak heading into their matchup against the Rams. I don’t think Minnesota will get a third straight win, even against a Los Angeles Rams team who is playing on Tuesday night.
Can we put @CooperKupp name in the NFL MVP convo please.
He leads all receivers in catches, yards, and touchdowns & he’s the only player who’s pace might break a *couple* of @NFL records this year! @RamsNFL

The Vikings defense is in the bottom half of the NFL in giving up points this season. I think the Rams offense will be able to exploit the weak Vikings’ defense in this game.
Pick Los Angeles to win and cover.
Buffalo vs. New England
- Date & Location: Sunday, December 26 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts
- Time: 1:00 p.m ET
- How to Watch: CBS
The first time these teams met in 2021, Bill Belichick put on a master class in coaching. Instead of relying on rookie quarterback Mac Jones in bad weather, the Patriots used their running game and coaching acumen to get a big win in Buffalo.

Buffalo will be more prepared for this game. They’ll know what they need to do to stop the Pats, thanks to their first meeting and the Colts win over New England in Week 15. The Pats will also be hard pressed to stop a better prepared Josh Allen.
Pick Buffalo to win and the under.
Baltimore vs. Cincinnati
- Date & Location: Sunday, December 26 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, OH
- Time: 1:00 p.m ET
- How to Watch: CBS
The Baltimore Ravens played a tough game against Green Bay on Sunday, but the team lost 31-30. The setback was the third in three games for a Baltimore club, who has been without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson for two weeks and could be without him heading into Week 16.

These teams met in late October in Baltimore and the Bengals won that game 41-17. That was with Jackson on the field. Baltimore backup quarterback Tyler Huntley won’t be the reason Baltimore loses in Week 16, but the team will lose.
Pick Cincinnati to win and cover.
