The Kansas City Chiefs look to stay undefeated when they host their AFC West rivals, the Oakland Raiders, this Sunday at 1 PM ET at Arrowhead stadium.
The Chiefs left Nashville with a 26-17 over the Tennessee Titans; their defense forced three turnovers from the Titans and Jamaal Charles dominated the games with 108 rushing yards and a score.
“Listen, we’re 5-0 and we’re not ashamed of that,” head coach Andy Reid said. “But we also know that we got a ton of room to improve. It’s important that we continue to do that.”
The Chiefs ended 1 for 4 in the red zone and 1 for 12 on third-down conversions in Tennessee.ย They need to improve this if they want to challenge the top dogs in the AFC.
“You can’t make a living doing that, right?” Reid added. “You have to make sure you’re more efficient on third down, and you have to shorten the third downs a little bit, too.”
The Raiders have won their last six meetings between these two teams played at Arrowhead Stadium. QB Terrelle Pryor has surprised his coach and the rest of the team with his playing form this season.
“He’s probably leaps and bounds ahead of where we thought he would be at this point in time,” coach Dennis Allen said. “The key for him is he continues to work and continues to strive to get better on the little things.”
Kansas City is 9 point favorites over the Raiders and game total is set at 40.5.
