The Cowboys seek to beat Eli Manning for the first time since the new Dallas stadium opened
and sweep the series against the Giants in 2012. The game will start this Sunday at 4:05 PM
ET.
“When you think about NFC East games, the way that they are playing, if you’re not able to get
wins early against big teams, it can come back to haunt you,” said Dallas linebacker DeMarcus
Ware, who status is unclear for Sunday. “So when you have the opportunity to get big wins
against NFC East teams, we have to do it”.
Eli Manning is unbeaten in Jerry Jones’ castle, but the Cowboys ruined the season opener for
the Giants in September; both teams will have a lot to show this Sunday.
“When you have the opportunity to play a team again, you want to go out there and have a
better performance, since you lost,” Manning said. “We feel that we can play better than we
did the first time”.
The Cowboys will be without, arguably, the second best player in their roster, Sean Lee.
“I can’t tell you how well he’s been playing since he’s been our starting inside linebacker,”
coach Jason Garrett said. “He’s a bell cow for us and a guy that really everybody on our
defense and football team looks up to”.
Dallas is 4-9 ATS in its last 13 games, 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games at home, and 1-4 ATS in their
last 5 games when playing at home against NY Giants.
