NFL Divisional Playoff Betting – Packers vs 49ers For A Spot in the NFC Championship Game

The Green Bay Packers will have a monumental challenge as they visit the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL divisional playoffs round, this Saturday at 8 PM ET at Candlestick Park, in what could be a new classic of the old 90’s rivalry between these two.

NFL Divisional Playoff Betting – Packers vs 49ers For A Spot in the NFC Championship GameThe rivalry will have arguably the best quarterback in the league Aaron Rodgers, who has the best passer rating in the history of the playoffs, against second year Colin Kaepernick, who stole the position in the middle of the season from Alex Smith.

“Aaron Rodgers is a great quarterback,” Kaepernick said. “You see what he does on the field and you see performances he’s been having, so you can’t say enough about the guy. We’re going to have to go out and put up points.”

“Colin Kaepernick just for the little time he has been a starter, is a lot more experienced, a lot more productive quarterback,” Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. “He creates different challenges for us.”

The Packers beat the Vikings last week with a sensational performance; meanwhile the 49ers rested.

The key of the matchup is the 49ers front seven against one of the worst offensive lines in football.  If Rodgers doesn’t have enough protection, it could be a tough game for them. “I think it’s just a matter of getting out there and going,” Justin Smith said. “I think like I said you just go out there and play until you can’t and be ready. I feel like I’ll be ready.”

San Francisco is 2.5 point favorites as they play at home, but they also have the advantage of having won the meeting between these two in week 1.
