The Bills have won just two games of the last eight, and are almost done from the playoffs race; they still have a small chance but it’s complicated. Buffalo owns a mediocre passing offense, but a good running one that will challenge an ordinary Jacksonville defense.
If coach Chan Gailey, who is a great play calling coach wants to keep his job, the Bills could use some wins late in the season, at least to make up for the big contracts they gave to Ryan Fitzpatrick and Mario Williams over the last two seasons.
Jacksonville defeated the Titans last week, and has showed a different face with quarterback Chad Henne under center. If Henne keeps this up he might be the starting quarterback for next year also as he has thrown for 6115 yards, six touchdowns and just interceptions in the last two games.
Jacksonville is 3-6 ATS in its last 9 games when playing Buffalo, but their last meeting was in 2010 that finished with a 36-36 victory from the Jaguars (the Bills were -2.5 home favorites).
My eye balls tell me Buffalo is a better team, but with Henne under control Jacksonville becomes a question mark and a dangerous team; after all Cecil Shots and Justin Blackmon can make plays.
Consider also Jacksonville is 1-7 SU in its last 8 games on the road, but 4-2 SU in its last 6 games when playing Buffalo.
