NFL Preseason Odds: Broncos vs Seahawks

Both the Broncos and Seahawks have high expectations coming into the 2013 season; for these two franchises is Super Bowl or bust.Β  Denver and Seattle clash this Saturday at 10 PM ET at CenturyLink Field for the second week of the preseason.

seahwks-broncosExpect to see Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson for two quarters.Β  Them the second and third position players will come in.

Denver beat the 49ers last week in a low scoring game 10-6. The Broncos are trying to see what will be life without Von Miller, who won’t be around for the first four games of the regular season due to a suspension for violating the NFL’s drug-abuse policy.

“When you lose a guy of that caliber, you’re going to notice a difference,” Champ Bailey said. “He’s just that effective on our defense. I think you would notice a lot more difference in a game-type situation. Von, hopefully we have him back sooner than later.”

“We’re prepared for any possible scenario,” Peyton Manning said. “That’s how you have to be. If you get all wrapped up into one outcome and it doesn’t end up turning out that way, you don’t really have a Plan B. Today was a good practice on the possibility that he may not be here. If that’s the case, that’s not going to be an excuse for our team, and we have to find a way to do our job. But we certainly hope that he is here.”

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Chargers and looked in week one and looked great.Β  Russell Wilson will try to take a win from Peyton Manning even if it is just on a preseason game.

Seattle is a 5 point favorite for this game in the NFL odds.
