Week 10’s Monday Night Football game features a battle between two NFC West teams who are in entirely different situations.
The Los Angeles Rams are 7-2 on the season, which puts them behind only the 8-1 Cardinals in the division and in the fifth spot in the conference. The 49ers, who are 3-5, are in the last spot in the NFC West and 11th in the division.
Los Angeles saw their four-game winning streak ended in Week 9 when the Tennessee Titans defeated them 28-16.
San Francisco ended a four-game losing skid with a 33-22 win over the Bears in Week 8, but the team went back into the L column in Week 9 when the Cardinals beat them 31-17.

Rams vs 49ers
Monday night marks the first meeting this season between the Rams and the 49ers. In the two meetings between the clubs last season, San Francisco went unbeaten, defeating the Rams 24-16 and 23-20.
Things do not look good for San Francisco going into this game. The 49ers have not earned a win this year against any team with a winning record. The club’s three wins have come against Detroit, Philadelphia and Chicago, who have combined for a 6-18 record on the season.
Matthew Stafford, who is a dark horse to win the NFL MVP for 2021, should be able to put up some strong numbers against the 49ers defense. San Francisco’s defense preformed poorly last week against an Arizona team that was without its starting quarterback and still gave up 437 total yards.

The discrepancy between the Rams offense, which has put up an NFL best 3,594 total yards this season and the San Francisco defense is the tale of this game. That difference is vast and things could get out of hand for the 49ers early in this matchup.

Bet the Rams -4. Los Angeles did not look great last week, but the 49ers defense has been giving up points at an alarming clip this season. With that, expect Stafford and Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods to put up some big numbers in San Francisco.
Bet the Rams to win. The money line isn’t fantastic, but with the Rams playing well and the 49ers struggling, the Rams should move to 8-2 against the money line this season.

Bet Over 49. Los Angeles has averaged nearly 31 points per game when they have come out on top and they have scored 38 points in two of those victories. I suspect the Rams will put up a total in that range against the 49ers.
