Coming off their first loss of the season to the 4-0 Arizona Cardinals, Sean McVay’s Rams are 2-point road favorites over the Seahawks. Before we dive into the matchup and make our picks, here’s where you can find tips and advice for betting on NFL football games and get the latest Super Bowl and NFL MVP futures.

Seahawks vs Rams
Russell Wilson became the fastest quarterback to 100 wins in NFL history after combining for three total TDs in a 28-21 Week 4 victory over San Francisco, but he’ll have his work cut out for him against Los Angeles’ defense this Thursday. When they last met in the Wild Card round in January, the Rams handed the Seattle its first home playoff loss since 2004.
Key for Seahawks offensive coordinator Shane Waldron will be scheming up ways to get DK Metcalf away from Jalen Ramsey. In two regular season encounters in 2020, the lockdown corner allowed one catch for 11 yards against Metcalf on 53 coverage snaps, however, the monstrous wideout broke out in the Wild Card game for 96 yards and two touchdowns.

The Rams looked like world-beaters after decisive victory over the Buccaneers in Week 3, but were brought down to earth by the divisional-rival Cardinals on Sunday, suffering a 37-20 defeat.
Averaging a career-high 8.6 yards per attempt through four weeks in Sean McVay’s offense, Matthew Stafford will attempt to get his NFL MVP campaign back on track against a shoddy Seahawks defense that ranks 28th in explosive pass plays allowed.
Thursday Night Football Best Bets
Bet the UNDER on 54.5 points. In the last ten meetings between these two clubs the total has gone over five times, but 54.5 points is a different story. The over on that number wouldn’t have come close to hitting in either of the teams’ three matchups in 2020, including the Rams’ 30-20 triumph in the Wild Card round. The under is also 7-1 in Los Angeles’ last eight games in October and Seattle hasn’t scored over 20 points in the last three meetings with LA.
Rams to cover 2-point spread. Everything seems to be pointing towards a Seahawks team that is 8-1-2 against the spread in their last 11 Thursday games. Dating back to last year, Seattle has lost two in a row in front of the 12s, but Pete Carroll’s club has never lost three straight at home over the past five seasons. Still, this is the first time in 11 games that Seattle is a home underdog and McVay has enjoyed a 6-3 record against Carroll since taking over.
Final Score Prediction: Rams 27, Seattle 23.
