The NFC West has surprised most people this season, and two of the best teams, the San Francisco 49ers host the Seattle Seahawks, this Thursday at 8:20 PM ET at Candlestick Park.
San Francisco needs to bounce back after they were smashed by the NY Giants at home, in what seems as a kind of a wakeup call. “You’ve got to dust yourself off and ride,” said coach Jim Harbaugh. “Right now we have no choice. We have to get to Seattle right quick. We’ve got a football fight coming”.
Seattle is coming from the biggest win in over six years as they came from behind to beat the New England Patriots with a last minute touchdown. “When it counted most we played our best,” coach Pete Carroll said. “I’m really fired up that we finished so well against a really, really good football team”.
“We believe we have a great ballclub, and we believe we can play with anybody,” defensive back Richard Sherman said. “NFL Network and all of these pundits think they know everything, and we keep shutting them up week, by week, by week, by week”.
Trends mention Seattle is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games when playing on the road against San Francisco, and the 49ers are 9-2 SU in its last 11 games at home.
Don’t expect many points in this game as the total has gone UNDER in 6 of Seattle’s last 8 games on the road.
