The Cincinnati Bengals are the new powerhouse of the AFC North and they want to show it this Sunday Night when they visit the Pittsburgh Steelers, at 8:30 PM ET at Heinz Field.
The NFL odds have the Bengals as the 1.5 favorites over the Steelers for this NFL week 15 matchup; the game total was set at 43 points.
The Bengals are 9-4 this season, and have beaten the Steelers in their last two meetings.
“We’ve just got to take care of our business and we’ll be all right,” Bengals cornerback Adam Jones told the team’s official web site. “If we just win out we’ll be OK. That’s all we’ve got to do: win out and let everything else take care of itself.”
The Steelers are 5-8 on the season and 3-3 at home, including a crushing loss to the Miami Dolphins last week. “We didn’t win the first game against these guys (Bengals),” said Pittsburgh receiver Jerricho Cotchery. “We are going to be up for the challenge. Guys are going to be ready to play.”
“We know what’s at stake,” added Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell. “Guys just have to be ready. We have to be ready for it.”
Pittsburgh is 5-2 SU in its last 7 games when playing Cincinnati, and 4-2 against the spread in their last six games, although the Bengals have won and covered the last two meetings.
The total has gone UNDER in 13 of Pittsburgh’s last 17 games at home, and in 5 of Cincinnati’s last 6 games when playing Pittsburgh.
