Given that all the franchises above have star quarterbacks and/or smart coaching, these are good bets. Indianapolis Colts (+3500)
The autopsy on the Colts’ 2021 season is already underway after a myriad of training camp injuries and COVID designations, but all indications point to quarterback Carson Wentz and his two All-Pro offensive lineman, Quenton Nelson and Ryan Kelly, suiting up against the Seahawks in Week 1.
While veteran receiver T.Y. Hilton could miss the year, Indianapolis’ offense will run through second-year back Jonathan Taylor, who’s poised to have a vintage Adrian Peterson type season, and Wentz should be much improved under the tutelage of Frank Reich. If rookie defensive end Kwity Paye can form a three-headed monster with tackle DeForest Buckner and linebacker Darius Leonard, the Colts defense could be a top-5 unit.

New Orleans Saints (+3500)
While they haven’t been able to climb the mountain top since their 2010 championship, the Saints have been an upper-echelon Super Bowl contender every season since the famous 2017 draft that landed them Alvin Kamara, cornerback Marshon Lattimore, offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk and safety Marcus Williams.
New Orleans’ odds plummeted following the retirement of Drew Brees – but considering his declining arm strength, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Jameis Winston is an upgrade at the position, allowing Sean Payton to take more deep shots down the field. With the league’s best offensive line and a defense that still has plenty of talent, the Saints could be a surprise contender if they can return to the Superdome before too long.
Arizona Cardinals (+4000)
It’s hard to back a team that shares a division with the Rams (+1600), 49ers (+1600) and +Seahawks (2500), three clubs viewed as top ten Super Bowl contenders. But if a healthy Kyler Murray takes another leap in year three with rookie Rondale Moore and a reportedly spry-looking A.J. Green added to the mix with DeAndre Hopkins at receiver, the Cardinals could have one of the most dynamic attacks in the league.
Arizona has two versatile linebackers in rookie Zaven Collins and sophomore Isaiah Simmons, and two star pass rushers in J.J. Watt and Chandler Jones. While their cornerback room is a question mark, the Cards could go all the way if they can just escape the NFC West.
