The Atlanta Falcons have one loss in the season that’s why they will seek revenge against the New Orleans Saints, on Thursday night at 8:20 PM ET at Georgia Dome, in an extremely attractive NFC south.
These two hate each other, and both believe they are better than the competition, plus the fact that New Orleans ended the perfect season for the Falcons gives this game a little more spice.
The Saints lost an exciting game against the 49ers, which puts them in a position where they can’t have another defeat if they want to think playoffs. “You give them two free ones, and that’s what they thrive on,” Drew Brees said. “All of a sudden they rattle off 21 points in a short amount of time and we really felt like we had the game under control”.
Atlanta beat Tampa Bay in close one; they have won seven games by 7-or-fewer points. “They are playing with a lot of confidence,” said Ryan, who has won seven of his past eight starts against the Bucs. “It’s always been a tough place for us to come play. They play with great effort, and I think they have a good football team”.
“The last drive, that’s something we’ve done before this season,” Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez said. “I really think that’s a positive for us to be able to come up with plays like that when we have to like that. … I’m really happy with the way we responded”.
