- Cam Ward (-5000) is heavy chalk to be selected 1st overall by the Tennessee Titans
- Two-way star Travis Hunter (-130) is a slight favorite to be the 2nd pick over Abdul Carter (+100)
- The 2025 NFL Draft will take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, at Lambeau Field and the Titletown District from April 24-26
While Cam Ward is almost certainly heading to the Tennessee Titans, nobody seems to know who Cleveland will take with the No. 2 overall pick. Will the quarterback-starved Browns really pass up Shedeur Sanders for his Colorado Buffaloes’ teammate Travis Hunter or Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter? And how will the rest of the Top 5 play out?

Shedeur Sanders (COL) | +700 | +700 | +700 |
Hunter or Carter?
Travis Hunter (-130) overtook Abdul Carter (+100) as the favorite to go second overall following Colorado’s Pro Day last week. The Heisman Trophy-winning wide receiver and cornerback wants to play on both sides of the ball in the NFL and Cleveland could certainly use his versatility. However, the beleaguered franchise could also pair the Penn State edge rusher with the freshly-extended Myles Garrett.
With Deshaun Watson injured and on the outs with the Browns, and only Kenny Pickett on the QB depth chart, Shedeur Sanders (+700) also can’t be ruled out. After his father Deion Sanders met with team owner Jimmy Haslam last Friday, he said, “I think one of (Shedeur or Hunter) is gonna be there.”

Travis Hunter (COL) | +150 | +150 | +150 |
Shedeur Sanders (COL) | +400 | +400 | +400 |
Shedeur to the Giants?
If the Browns take Hunter at #2, it would stand to reason that the Giants would select Abdul Carter (-105) third overall. After all, they’ve already brought in both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston this offseason. But, c’mon, both those options are clearly awful and Big Blue already has Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns to rush the passer.
That’s why we believe Shedeur Sanders (+400) is heading to the Big Apple. Don’t forget that Primetime’s son showed off a pair of Giants-themed cleats prior to his final college game.

Abdul Carter falls to the Pats
Will Campbell (+180) and Armand Membou (+315) are routinely mocked to the Patriots at No. 4 because New England had one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL in 2024. Yet, while new head coach Mike Vrabel knows he has to protect sophomore QB Drake Maye, he won’t be able to resist Abdul Carter (+380) if he’s still on the board.
The only fly in the ointment? The 21-year-old did not participate in Penn State’s Pro Day because he’s rehabbing a shoulder injury and has a stress fracture in his right foot.

Jeanty to Jags?
While Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham (-150) is penciled in at No. 5 in almost every mock draft on the internet, the Jaguars have far too many needs to write this one in stone. With a new offensive-minded head coach in Liam Coen, the Jaguars could opt to add an offensive lineman to protect Trevor Lawrence, or better yet, a playmaker to pair with Brian Thomas Jr.
Penn State tight end Tyler Warren (+950) and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty (+1600) would certainly fit the bill.
