Updated 2013-14 NFC Championship Futures

Good news, there are less than  100 days before football comes back, but the bad news for the San Francisco 49ers is that their wideout Michael Crabtree will be out for six months due to a torn Achilles injury during the OTAs.

Updated 2013-14 NFC Championship Futures“His comment to that was, he’s got no choice but to be back,” coach Jim Harbaugh said. “Every day now is a healing day, and that starts today.”

Despite the loss of the wide receiver the Niners remain as the favorite to win the NFC Championship, according the recent NFL future odds.

San Francisco is listed +325 to be in the Super Bowl two years in a row, seemingly Vegas doesn’t’t care about the Super Bowl hangover.  The Niners have been in the NFC Championship game two seasons in a row, and they seem ready to make it three times.

The other team that joins them as the favorites are the division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks.  With Russell Wilson under center, Seattle is packed with talent on both end of the field and will have something to say this year.

Wilson will be on his second year in the NFL, but they just acquired Percy Harvin this offseason, and that should be enough to avoid the sophomore slump. The Seahawks are listed +400 to be in the Super Bowl.

The Green Bay Packers are third on the list listed +600; having Aaron Rodgers should be enough to hide several issues on defense, but they also brought a rookie running back that should help them take it to the next level.

The rest of the NFC Clubs:

Arizona Cardinals +5000

Atlanta Falcons +750

Carolina Panthers +2000

New Orleans Saints +1000
