Both the Vikings and Cowboys went into overtime in Week 11 in two of the wildest games of the NFL season. Kevin O’Connell’s club orchestrated a surprising 33-30 road upset over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday while Mike McCarthy fell to his former team and quarterback in Lambeau.

Cousins to Jefferson
Justin Jefferson’s gravity-defying 32-yard grab on 4th-and-18 will be shown on highlight shows for decades. The catch was Jefferson’s pièce de résistance on an afternoon where he hauled in 10 receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown.
Allowing the fourth-fewest passing yards per game (181.7), Dallas is well equipped to slow down the Vikings’ All-Pro receiver. However, Cowboys’ corners were burned repeatedly in Sunday’s 31-28 OT loss to the Packers. Rookie receiver Christian Watson caught four balls for 107 yards and three scores. That suggests that Jefferson will be able to get open against Trevon Diggs in Week 11.

Dallas goes down
Dallas is now 2-8 all-time against Aaron Rodgers after the four-time NFL MVP led his Packers to a home win over former coach Mike McCarthy. The Cowboys are sitting at 6-3 after blowing a 14-point lead on Sunday. And, after permitting 207 total rushing yards to Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon, their bottom-four run defense may have its hands full with Dalvin Cook.
The good news is that the Dak Prescott-CeeDee Lamb connection was electric in Week 10. The third-year receiver went for a career-high 150 yards and two TDs in the loss. He now faces a Vikings defense allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game (262.9).
Vikings vs Cowboys
Minnesota is a 1-point home underdog at U.S. Bank Stadium and the game has a healthy 47.5-point over/under. Under first-year head coach Kevin O’Connell, the Vikings have a top-ten scoring offense (25.1 points per week). And while Cousins’ passing statistics aren’t as gaudy as previous campaigns, the veteran QB seems to be beloved by teammates. Cousins has become an unlikely social media star this season, showing off his six-pack and sporting chains in post-victory videos.
Dak Prescott threw two costly picks on Sunday. Since returning from a thumb injury that cost him five games, the 29-year-old signal caller has passed for 722 yards, 6 touchdowns and 3 interceptions in three matchups versus mediocre competition.

Best Bet
Dallas won in Minnesota last year while starting backup quarterback Cooper Rush. That will only put more pressure on Prescott this weekend and we doubt he delivers. While oddsmakers seem to be begging us to take the Vikings as one-point underdogs at home, that’s exactly what we’ll do.
