Cousins vs Winston
One week after flaming out in primetime versus the Eagles, Kirk Cousins led his Vikings to a 28-24 comeback win over the Lions on Sunday. But it wasn’t pretty. The 34-year-old connected on just one completion of 20-plus air yards and his star wideout Justin Jefferson was limited to a career-low 14 yards on three receptions.
Still, Cousins’ final stat line (260 yards, 2 TDs) was much better than Jameis Winston’s performance (353 yards, TD, 2 INTs) in a 22-14 loss to the Panthers. Reportedly playing on a bum ankle with four fractures in his back, Famous Jameis has tossed five picks in the past two games.
The vibes could not be worse surrounding Jameis Winston right now. It doesn't feel like we're very far from Dennis Allen being the last supporter left in his corner: https://t.co/CgnjJ9ukHh

Injury roundup
Vikings running back Dalvin Cook suffered yet another dislocated shoulder on Sunday. Early reports say he’ll strap on a harness and play through the pain in Week 4. The injuries suffered by Saints receivers Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry also don’t appear serious. But, you can never be too sure with Michael Thomas.
Either way, New Orleans’ receiving corps has been buoyed by the arrival of Chris Olave, their No. 11 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. The rookie has amassed 14 receptions for 227 yards in the past two games while leading the planet in air yards.
Vikings vs Saints
Minnesota opened as a 3-point favorite over the Saints, with a game total of 44 points. Given the struggles of both offenses, points could be at premium on Sunday. Lockdown corner Marshon Lattimore has the skills to keep Justin Jefferson off the scoreboard for a third-straight game. And, on the other side, Alvin Kamara has managed a measly 119 total yards in the two games he’s suited up for this season.

Best Bet
Before picking the game, I researched the time difference over the pond and am happy to report that the Vikings and Saints will kick off at 2:30PM local in London. That means this is not a night game for Kirk Cousins and we could expect an average-to-good performance rather than a full-on meltdown.
The same can’t be said for poor Jameis. The countdown to the Andy Dalton era is on in New Orleans. Expect the Ginger Assassin to takeover in Week 5 versus the Seahawks after another turnover-extravaganza by Winston.
Final Score Prediction: Minnesota 23, Saints 17
