Patriots vs Bills haven’t been much of a rivalry lately, but Buffalo have made some additions and hope to change that in the near future. The two clubs will face each other this Sunday at 1 PM ET.
The Pats have won 19 of the last 21 games in the series but the last time they visit Ralph Wilson Stadium they blew up a 21 point lead. “It is a great opportunity for us,” Bills coach Chan Gailey said. “They are going to be at an all-time focus level for this ball game just because of who they are”.
New England is 1-2 on the season for the first time in 145 games. They need this win or their playoffs picture might chance a whole lot. “I’m trying to focus on coaching our football team,” Belichick said. “We need to do a better job of controlling the things that we need to control”.
“We just don’t play well when we need to,” Brady said. “We’ve got to play our best when it means the most, and we need to start winning close games”.
Buffalo lost running backs Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller because of injuries, but Jackson might be back for this clash against the hated Patriots.
“My mindset is to go. I’m playing. That is how I’m approaching it,” Jackson said. “I think I’ve got a really good shot. I like my chances.
“You lose a guy like (Spiller), it definitely adds to wanting to get back out there and helping your team,” he added. “But from that standpoint, I always wanted to be back versus New England just because it is New England and it’s a tough game for us”.
The lines have New England favorite by four points; take them to cover.
