Packers and Saints were set to be one of the matchups in the NFC Championship game; so far though, they have a combined 1-5 record. Whoever loses this game will be in serious trouble. The game will be played at Lambeau Field at 4:25 PM ET.
New Orleans is 0-3 with arguably the worst defense in the league; they can’t catch a break as they will face the Packers, Chargers, and Broncos in three of their next four games.
“We’re definitely still trying to find our rhythm,” quarterback Drew Brees said. “Unfortunately we haven’t been able to put it together on a consistent basis”.
Green Bay issues might not be as inept, but there are still worries about what’s going with the team. Last season the Packers were one of the most prolific offenses, and now they barely average 19 points.
“We need to stay focused,” McCarthy said. “We’re not going to get any help. I know this is going to be a story that everybody wants to continue to talk about, and frankly I’m not going to act like it’s not there. This is a play that I’m sure we’ll see on TV as we move on in our lives. That’s the facts of our business, that’s the beauty of what Steve Sabol has created, God rest his soul.
“The fact of the matter is we’re about New Orleans. We’re in tune with staying true to the integrity of the Green Bay Packers, how we conduct ourselves, being professional during a tough time, during a challenge”.
New Orleans is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Green Bay.
