Raiders (+2.5) over Chargers
The 2021 season concludes with a “winner-take-all” game between the Chargers and Raiders on Sunday Night Football, unless this unlikely scenario unfolds. Left for dead after suffering a 48-9 loss to the Chiefs in Week 14, Las Vegas has rallied to a 9-7 record with three straight victories over the Browns, Broncos and Colts. With star tight end Darren Waller set to return to the lineup, we expect the resilient Raiders to win a tight game over a Chargers franchise with a rich history of coming up small in big moments.

Jaguars (+16) over Colts
Everyone will have an eye on this one. Why? If the Colts win, they’re in. But if the NFL’s worst franchise was to score an upset victory at home, that would open the playoff door for the winner of the Ravens vs. Steelers game (assuming the Chargers and Raiders don’t work together to secure a tie on Sunday night). Somehow, some way, Indianapolis hasn’t won in Jacksonville since 2014. While that streak should end this weekend, the 2-14 Jaguars will be plenty motivated to keep things closer than their AFC South rivals would like.
49ers (+4) over Rams
San Francisco clinches a postseason berth with a win over Los Angeles or a Saints loss to the Falcons. However, Sean McVay’s club will also be plenty motivated because they need a win to clinch the NFC West title and a first-round home game in the playoffs. Given the 49ers have won five in a row in this series, including a 31-10 victory back in November, and are facing a more dire “do or die” scenario, we like Kyle Shanahan to empty out the cupboard of Trey Lance plays to secure a W and a playoff spot.

Rest Scenarios To Capitalize On
With the Green Bay Packers having already clinched the NFC’s No. 1 seed, the Detroit Lions (+2) are a strong bet to pick up their third win of the season. Cincinnati will also have nothing to play for if the Chiefs defeat the Broncos on Saturday, so we expect Joe Burrow and the Bengals star receiver duo to rest against a Browns club trying to finish strong with Case Keenum under center. Take Cleveland (+2.5) while you can.
It’s also fair to wonder how motivated the Buccaneers will be to secure the NFC’s No. 2 seed given they’d also need a Rams loss to earn it. Expect Tampa Bay to pull its starters after the first half, giving the Panthers an excellent shot to cover the 8 points.
