What NFL Team Will Aaron Rodgers Play For Next Season?

  • Bovada favors Denver (+120) as the most-likely landing spot for Aaron Rodgers in 2022
  • The Hall-of-Fame quarterback will likely kiss and make up with the Packers (+130) following another 13-win season
  • The Raiders (+650) and Steelers (+650) could be in the mix if No. 12 forces his way out of Green Bay this offseason

Aaron Rodgers has emerged as the heavy favorite to win his second-consecutive and fourth-career NFL MVP award after leading the Packers to the NFC’s No. 1 seed, a first-round bye and home-field advantage through to the Super Bowl in Los Angeles.

However, after an offseason filled with petty drama and trade rumors, will the star quarterback stay in Green Bay for the 2022 NFL season or try once again to force his way out of town?

Let’s look at the latest odds on where Rodgers will end up next year. Here’s also where you can find advice on how to bet on the NFL.

Broncos still favored to land MVP QB

Denver is a +120 favorite to secure Aaron Rodgers’ services for next season after being heavily linked to the Hall-of-Fame quarterback last summer. When Broncos GM George Paton passed on Justin Fields and Mac Jones in the 2021 NFL Draft, many speculated that Rodgers would soon be on his way to the Mile High City.

But with head coach Vic Fangio likely on his way out the door after a third-straight losing season, would Rodgers really be willing to step into an uncertain situation after winning 13 games in each of the last three years with Matt LaFleur?

Bet on the Packers to retain Rodgers

Tensions seem to be thawing on Wisconsin’s frozen tundra. In the midst of another MVP-quality campaign, Rodgers recently told reporters he has an improved relationship with general manager Brian Gutekunst and will make a “quick decision” after the 2021 campaign regarding his future.

Keep in mind also that the 38-year-old is still under contract with Green Bay through the 2022 season. So, even if America’s favorite anti-vaxxer wants to move on, it will take another summer media shitstorm to push himself out of town. Assuming the Packers don’t implode in the postseason, Rodgers is a +130 lock to continue his career at Lambeau Field.

Longshots to land the Green Bay great

The New Orleans Saints (+400) have been more often connected with another discontent signal caller in Seattle. And, while playing in the Big Easy for Sean Payton sounds wonderful whether you’re Rodgers or Russell Wilson, it’s difficult to believe the Packers would be eager to send their legendary QB to a NFC rival and move forward with Jordan Love.

Las Vegas (+650) is another destination that would no doubt top the list of cities Rodgers’ fiance Shailene Woodley or Ciara would love to call home. With Derek Carr only under contract for one more season and easy to trade without incurring any salary cap penalties, a Raiders deal could entice Gutekunst if he believes Carr could carry the mantle until Love develops into his quarterback of the future.

Images of No. 12 in black and gold permeated Twitter after Rodgers and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin exchanged flirty glances during a Week 4 game in October.

Pittsburgh (+650) isn’t exactly a honeymoon spot for new lovers. But if Rodgers’ priority is leaving GB and winning championships (in that order), he could do worse than replacing Ben Roethlisberger in a rock-solid organization with a record 15-straight non-losing seasons under Tomlin.
