Last week’s Thursday night football game saw the Indianapolis Colts bounce back from a 34-31 week 8 loss to the Tennessee Titans with a 45-30 win over the Mike White and the New York Jets. The outcome of the game moved the Colts to 4-5 and dropped the Jets to 2-6.
This week’s Thursday night game sees the 6-2 Baltimore Ravens traveling to Miami to face the Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. The Ravens lost the first game of the season and then ran off five straight wins. They dropped a late October game to the Bengals 41-17 before getting back on the winning track on Sunday with a 34-31 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
The home team won their season opener, but then lost their next seven games. Miami got back in the win column on Sunday with a 17-9 win over the Texans.
Thursday Night Football – Week 10
|Spread||Money Line||Total Points|

Ravens vs. Dolphins
This is a lopsided matchup. The Ravens are at the top of the AFC North with a 6-2 record, while the Dolphins are sitting at the bottom of the AFC East with a record of 2-7. Baltimore has scored 221 points this season and surrendered 195. Miami has scored 155 and given up 242.
The Dolphins defense, which has been poor this season, is going to get tested by the Ravens. Only two teams have given up more yards per game than Miami, who average 391.9 yards per game. Those numbers do not bode well against the Ravens, who are second in the NFL in offensive yards per game at 427.9.

The Ravens biggest threat is Lamar Jackson, who is coming off a game where he threw for 266 yards and ran for 120 more. Jackson ranks ninth among NFL quarterbacks with 2,209 yards passing. Jackson is a bigger threat when he carries the ball. The Baltimore QB ranks sixth among all NFL ball carriers in rushing this season with 600 yards. There are not other quarterbacks in the top-10 in rushing this season.
Thursday Night Football Best Bets
Bet the OVER on 46.5 points. The Ravens have averaged 27.6 points per game this season. In their past three wins the Baltimore club has put up 34, 34 and 31. With the team’s potent offense and the Dolphins weak defense, it would not be a surprise to see Baltimore top their highest scoring game of the season, which was their 36-35 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in week two.

Ravens to cover the 7.5 point spread. The last time these two teams played was in September 2019. The Dolphins were seven point favorites in that game. They defeated the Dolphins by a score of 59-10. I don’t think they’ll rack up a score like that on Thursday, but I believe they have the offense to cover the 7.5 point spread.
Ravens to win. The money line isn’t offering a great value at -365, but a Ravens loss to Miami would be a disaster. Expect the team to win with little struggle.
