Super Bowl 50 Futures – Preseason, Injuries Alter Landscape

The last time we looked at the Super Bowl 50 futures – back in the halcyon days of August, when rosters were healthy and every team had some reason for optimism – the Seahawks were leading the pack, followed closely by the Packers.

After a few preseason games, including the all-important Week 3 matchups, we’ve learned a bit about every team. We’ve also seen several key players go down with injuries. While preseason results should always be taken with a heaping spoonful of coarse, Himalayan salt, some things can’t be ignored: the Seattle passing game doesn’t look much better than last year; Jameis Winston may not be the most  “pro-ready” rookie QB; and the Bills could finally have an answer under center, for example.

Coupled with a rash of preseason injuries, the NFL futures have shifted.

Get the updated odds for all 32 teams, below, along with their odds from last time (in parentheses).
