NFL Week 4 Picks and Predictions for all of Sunday’s Games

  • BetOnline has NFL Week 4 lines, spreads and over/unders for every game on the Sunday slate
  • Tom Brady’s Buccaneers are 6.5-point road favorites versus Bill Belichick’s Patriots in the Week 4 nightcap
  • The Eagles are a 7.5-point underdog to a Chiefs team that has only covered once in 14 games

Tom Brady vs. Bill Belichick is being billed as the Game of the Century, but we already know who won this breakup. Brady returns to Foxborough flaunting a seventh Super Bowl ring while New England is just 8-11 since he flew south.

Coming off a loss to the Rams, the 44-year-old quarterback should be extra motivated to stick it to his former head coach one last time. Let’s look at the odds for Patriots/Buccaneers and all the Week 4 money lines, totals and point spreads. But before we do, here’s where you can find tips and advice on betting on NFL football games.

Buccaneers (-6.5) over Patriots

It hardly seems like a fair fight. While Brady comes to town with a small army of offensive weapons such as Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown and fellow-returnee Rob Gronkowski, Belichick will be forced to defend his home turf with rookie QB Mac Jones, who tossed three interceptions in a 28-13 loss to the Saints on Sunday. The legendary coach is known as a defensive chessmaster, but it’s Brady who has all the knights.

Panthers (+5.5) over Cowboys

After embarrassing their NFC East division rivals on Monday night, Dallas hosts the undefeated Panthers in Week 4. Carolina will have to scheme up new plays to overcome the absence of Christian McCaffrey, who injured his hamstring in a 24-9 win over Houston last Thursday, but have a serious rest advantage over the Cowboys heading into Sunday’s game. Overlooked at +6000 to win the Super Bowl, Matt Rhule’s club has only given up a total of 30 points this season – providing a perfect test for Kellen Moore’s high-flying offense.

Chiefs (-7.5) over Eagles

Before picking the Chargers last week, we told you the Chiefs had only covered the spread once in their past 13 games. Well, make it one in 14 after Los Angeles’ 30-24 victory. Still, it’s hard to see Patrick Mahomes having difficulty moving the ball on an Eagles team that allowed 41 points to Dallas on MNF. Kansas City is an NFL-best 44-20 (.688) on the road in eight years under Andy Reid (20-4 the last three years) and will be plenty motivated now that they’re two games behind the Chargers and Broncos in the AFC West.

Seahawks (+2.5) over 49ers

One gets the feeling that big changes are coming to one of these two teams. The 49ers dropped their first game of the season on Sunday night, a 30-28 loss to the Packers, and seemingly have questions at every offensive position – when’s Trey Lance going to replace Jimmy G? Who’s the starting running back? Is Brandon Aiyuk out of the doghouse?

Meanwhile, the Seahawks are sitting at 1-2 with an offense that looks every bit as stale as the 2020 version despite the hire of OC Shane Waldron. Still, Russell Wilson usually saves his best for big games and Seattle’s back is against the wall as they can’t afford to fall to 1-3 in the loaded NFC West.
