Rangers vs Ducks
Igor Shesterkin will be looking to get his Vezina campaign back on track after allowing eight goals on 50 shots (.840 SV%) over the past two games. The Russian netminder shouldn’t find the going too tough against a Ducks team that has lost four-straight contests and is squarely in the “seller” category approaching next week’s NHL trade deadline. The Blueshirts are a stellar 19-5-3 on home ice while the Ducks are under-.500 on the road.
Pick: Rangers -1.5 (+115)

Jets vs Golden Knights
Don’t look now, but the Golden Knights have lost 10 of 14 since the NHL All-Star break, including their last four-in-a-row, to fall to ninth in the Western Conference. With captain Mark Stone on long-term injured reserve, Vegas could be in trouble against a Jets squad that’s a respectable 5-3-2 in their last 10 and four games over .500 in Winnipeg’s MTS Centre.
Pick: Jets money line (-113)
Oilers vs Red Wings
After dropping three straight, Edmonton is coming off two impressive victories over the Capitals and Lightning. Connor McDavid’s two goals versus Tampa Bay launched him atop the NHL scoring race with 83 points (just two ahead of teammate Leon Draisaitl) and leaped the Oilers into third place in the Pacific division. Meanwhile, Detroit’s just 2-7-1 in their previous 10 matchups with five consecutive losses.
Pick: Oilers -1.5 (-110)

2015-16: 7 goals and 24 points
2016-17: 12 goals and 37 points
2017-18: 18 goals and 42 points
2018-19: 10 goals and 36 points
2019-20: 13 goals and 36 points
2020-21: 16 goals and 52 points

Predators vs Penguins
In what looks to be the most competitive game of the night, a Predators club that has won four of its past five hosts a Pittsburgh team that’s coming off a 4-2 victory over the Hurricanes. The Penguins have gone a sterling 19-6-4 on the road and are probably a tier above Nashville, which they defeated for their last Stanley Cup way back in 2017.
Pick: Penguins -1.5 (+220)
Blackhawks vs Bruins
Boston handed Chicago a 4-3 loss last Thursday and remain one of the best teams in the NHL since the New Year. Embarking on a four-game road trip, the Bruins will look to continue piling up wins and convince General Manager Don Sweeney to add pieces at the deadline for one more Cup run.
Pick: Bruins -1.5 (+150)

Kings vs Avalanche
Nathan MacKinnon scored twice and Darcy Kuemper stopped a career-best 46 shots in a 3-0 triumph over the Flames on Sunday night. It was somewhat of a statement game for the Avalanche, who had lost four of their previous five games and were without captain Gabriel Landeskog. With the best record through 60 games in franchise history, Colorado should have the advantage against a Kings team that is much better on the road (18-8-5) than in sunny California (15-12-3)
Pick: Avalanche -1.5 (+130)
