Penguins vs Golden Knights
The Golden Knights are playing the second of back-to-back road games after facing Buffalo last night. With the Oilers in their rear-view mirror, Vegas is in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time since entering the league five years ago. (Jack Eichel may never get to play in the postseason). Meanwhile, the Penguins could be gearing up for their first Cup run since 2017. Following consecutive one-goal losses to the Panthers and Hurricanes, expect Sidney Crosby and company to come out strong and secure the victory.
Final score prediction: Penguins 5, Vegas 3
Sat down w/ Jack Eichel to talk about his return to Buffalo.
"I hope fans can look past some things that happened in the last year…and know I just tried to do as much as I could for the city"

Blue Jackets vs Wild
One of the top teams in both the Central division and Western Conference over the first half of the season, the Wild is now barely hanging onto a playoff spot with eight losses in their last 11 contests. Columbus has also had a rough go of it of late with three-straight one-goal defeats to the Kings, Bruins and Leafs. The Blue Jackets would be hard-pressed to make the postseason, but they’re a harder team to play right now. Traveling from Detroit with no days rest, Minnesota’s swoon could continue.
Final score prediction: Blue Jackets 3, Minnesota 1
Islanders vs Jets
Both with losing records over their past 10 games, the Islanders and Jets will be sellers at the NHL’s trade deadline on Monday, March 21. New York’s playoff-less plight is especially disappointing after a year where they pushed the Stanley Cup Champion Lightning to 7 games. Winnipeg secured an impressive home victory over the LIghtning earlier this week – and while they’re on the road for this one, you could hear a pin drop in the Long Island arena this season.
Final score prediction: Jets 4, Islanders 2

Canucks vs Capitals
After being booed relentlessly on back-to-back nights in Calgary and Edmonton earlier this week, Alex Ovechkin will be in Vancouver on Friday for another round of heckling. Ovechkin is currently tied with Jaromir Jagr for third most regular season goals all-time with 766, However, his ties to Vladimir Putin make him an easy target of fans and Hall of Fame goalie Dominik Hasek, who is calling for the suspension of all Russian players.
Comfortably in a playoff spot, Washington is 5-4-1 in their last 10 games while the Canucks are a blistering hot 8-2 as they try to climb back into the Western Conference’s postseason picture.
Final score prediction: Canucks 6, Capitals 3
