Oilers vs Kings
Los Angeles sits just two points ahead of Edmonton in the Pacific so this contest will go a long way in determining home-ice advantage in their inevitable first-round series. The Oilers rebounded from a 9-5 Battle of Alberta shellacking to top the Coyotes 6-1 on Monday night.
Leon Draisaitl notched his 48th goal of the season to draw even with the Leafs’ Auston Matthews in the Rocket Richard race and now sits just two points back of teammate Connor McDavid for the Art Ross Trophy. The Kings, meanwhile, will be looking to rebound from a 6-1 loss to the expansion Kraken on Monday.
Final score prediction: Oilers 5, Kings 3

Kraken vs Golden Knights
Seattle has won four of its past six, although three of those victories came against questionable competition (Coyotes, Red Wings, Canadiens) to say the least. The Kraken should be an easy mark for Vegas, but the Golden Knights have lost seven road games in a row and are in severe danger of missing the postseason. Pete Deboer’s club desperately needs to sweep their upcoming home-and-homes with both Seattle and Vancouver to make the playoffs.
Final score prediction: Golden Knights 6, Seattle 2
Red Wings vs Rangers
There’s finally hope in Detroit after the emergence of Calder Trophy candidates Moritz Seider and Lucas Raymond, but my god can this team ever take a beating! After getting blown out 11-2 by the Penguins on Sunday, the Red Wings have allowed over seven goals nine different times this season – something that hasn’t happened since 1988-89.
The good news is the Rangers backup Alexandar Georgiev will likely be between the pipes as New York is on the second of a back to back. Let’s go with an unexpected upset here.
Final score prediction: Detroit 4, Rangers 3 OT

Sabres vs Jets
The Jets have won four of their past five to stay in contention for the last Wild-Card spot in the Western Conference. However, the Sabres have also been surprisingly good lately with a 6-2-2 record in their past 10. Buffalo has also played six straight one-goal games so beware of taking either of these clubs to cover a high point spread.
Final score prediction: Sabres 3, Jets 2
