Bruins vs Lightning
Patrice Bergeron is expected back in the lineup as Boston kick-offs a five-game homestand against Tampa Bay. Trade deadline acquisition Hampus Lindholm will also be making his debut on the Bruins blueline. Losers of two-straight and five of their last seven contests, the Lightning are only one point up on their Atlantic division rivals with a game in hand. Both Jon Cooper and Bruce Cassidy will no doubt be approaching this as an important measuring stick game as their clubs jockey for playoff positioning.
Final score prediction: Lightning 3, Bruins 2

Hurricanes vs Stars
Rod Brind’Amour’s club ended their four-game slide with a gritty 3-2 victory over the Lightning on Tuesday, while the Stars scored twice 24 seconds apart late in the third period to hand Edmonton a 5-3 loss. One point up on Vegas for the second Wild-Card spot in the West with four games in hand, Dallas handed the Hurricanes a 4-1 defeat in late November. However, they’re a mediocre 14-16-2 in road games compared to Carolina’s 24-5-3 record in Raleigh.
Final score prediction: Hurricanes 5, Stars 3
Golden Knights vs Predators
The Golden Knights are back home after suffering back-to-back shutout losses in Winnipeg and Minnesota earlier in the week. Quickly falling out of the playoff picture without captain Mark Stone, Vegas desperately needs a win versus Nashville. The problem is that the Predators will also be hungry after a 6-1 loss to the Kings on Tuesday. Look for Roman Josi to extend his point streak to 11 games. The 31-year-old blueliner has been on a tear with 24 points in his last 10 contests.
Final score prediction: Nashville 4, Vegas 2
Roman Josi recorded his 60th assist of the season (18-60—78 in 62 GP) and required the fewest games by a defenseman to reach the mark since Sergei Zubov (61 GP in 1993-94 w/ NYR).#NHLStats: https://t.co/SLKcecEF0i pic.twitter.com/wpDEfK4CJM

Wild vs Canucks
Minnesota fans will have to wait a couple more days for Marc-Andre Fleury to make his home debut with Cam Talbot expected to start after recording a 28-save shutout versus Vegas on Monday. The Wild also added some beef at the deadline, acquiring forward Nicolas Deslauriers from the Ducks and rugged defenseman Jacob Middleton from the Sharks. Riding a three-game win streak, they should roll over the Canucks, who played last night and have just one win in their last seven contests.
Final score prediction: Wild 6, Canucks 2
Oilers vs Sharks
Losers of two in a row after their late collapse versus Dallas, Edmonton hosts a Sharks team that rallied to a surprising 4-3 road victory over the Flames on Tuesday. The Oilers are riding a five-game home winning streak and should get things back on track versus San Jose.
Final score prediction: Oilers 4, Sharks 3 (OT)
