Buoyed by the emergence of rookie goaltender Jeremy Swayman, Boston is one of the hottest teams in the entire NHL since the New Year. However, the Kings will be out for revenge after being shutout 7-0 on home ice by Bruce Cassidy’s club last Monday night.

Blue Jackets vs Maple Leafs
After a respectable start to the season, Jack Campbell is falling apart between the pipes. The Maple Leafs’ .876 save percentage is last in the league since Jan. 9 and the 30-year-old netminder has allowed four or more goals in each of his past four starts. Meanwhile, Columbus has dropped four of its past five games and now sit 10 points back of the Capitals for the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Flames vs Oilers
Calgary is now 13-1-1 over its last 15 games after Johnny Gaudreau scored 37 seconds into overtime to give the Flames a 4-3 road victory over the Avalanche on Saturday. Darryl Sutter’s club has lost the two Battles of Alberta with Edmonton this season and would love to strike another blow against his provincial rival’s playoff chances. The Oilers sit a point back of Dallas for the final postseason berth in the West with two games in hand.

Islanders vs Avalanche
Despite consecutive losses to the Coyotes and Flames, Colorado still hasn’t dropped back-to-back games in regulation since October. Keep an eye on Norris Trophy frontrunner Cale Makar, who has now recorded an assist in 11 straight – just 6 games shy of Paul Coffey’s record (17) for defenseman. On the other end, the Islanders are having the most disappointing season in all of the NHL, sitting nowhere close to a playoff spot after taking the Cup champion Lightning to 7 games in last year’s Eastern Conference Final.

Sabres vs Panthers
Winners of five of six, the Panthers are in a dog-fight with their cross-state rivals in Tampa Bay for the top spot in the Atlantic division. Led by Hart Trophy candidate Jonathan Huberdeau, Florida should be expected to roll over the bottom-dwellers in Buffalo, who will be playing the second game of a back-to-back.
