Blackhawks vs Kings Game 3 Western Conference Finals

The Chicago Blackhawks are not messing around; they are up 2-0 and seem to be in control of the series without many problems.Β  Game three of the Blackhawks vs Kings series is this Tuesday at 8 PM ET at the Staples Center.

Kings vs BlackhawksChicago harassed goalie Jonathan Quick in Game 2 and grabbed the control of the series with a 4-2 win. “It’s a high-speed game. If we use our speed, we’ll be all right,” Blackhawks Andrew Shaw said. “We played our game. That’s the difference. The guys played good. We all competed for each other. We did everything we needed to do, keeping it deep in the zone.”

“We went through a little spurt there in the last series where we were doing the right things, but the pucks weren’t going in,” Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews said. “So now we’re getting the results we want. We can do what we’re doing more often. We can do it better as well in the next few games.”

The four goals the Hawks scored on Sunday ended Los Angeles’ run of 34 straight playoff games allowing three goals or fewer, the longest streak in NHL history.

Game 3 is at the Staples Center.Β  The Kings are really good at home, and they expect to be ready to bounce back. “You’ve got to find a way,” Goalie Jonathan Quick said. “They did their job at home. We’ve got to go home and do our job now.”

Chicago is listed +118 in the moneyline to win game 3, and the Kings are -130.
