Wild vs Bruins
With four losses in their last 11 games, the Wild’s once-secure playoff spot in the Central is in danger as they host a Bruins team that has had its way with almost all comers since the New Year.
Boston is playing the second game of a back-to-back on the road, but No. 1 netminder Jeremy Swayman will be manning the pipes against Minnesota. The rookie will be in tough against Kirill Kaprizov, who has racked up 30 goals and 43 assists in his first full NHL season and is challenging the single-season franchise records in both categories with 24 games to play.

Senators vs. Blue Jackets
In the midst of their fifth-straight losing season, the Senators don’t even have many veteran assets to sell during next week’s NHL trade deadline because of stalled youth movement that still hasn’t gotten off the ground. Ottawa defeated Columbus 2-1 in their last meeting two months back, but the Blue Jackets have been playing solid hockey of late with victories over the Wild and Golden Knights.

Kraken vs Lightning
Just five years after the Vegas Golden Knights made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Final in their inaugural season, the expansion Kraken are 18-37-5 and competing for the worst record in the league with the miserable Montreal Canadians.
Seattle will get to see a model franchise up close and personal on Wednesday night when they host the back-to-back champs from Tampa Bay. The Lightning lost the first three games of their West-Coast road trip and will want to finish it strong with what should be an easy W here.

Flames vs Devils
The Flames have cooled down of late, but it’s hard to blame Darryl Sutter’s club given the stranglehold they have on the Pacific division. Beginning a stretch where they play three times in four nights, Calgary will look to start strong against a Devils club that’s playing the second leg of a back-to-back on the road.
To make matters worse, New Jersey is a league-worst 8-18-2 away from home. Don’t look now but Jacob Markstrom could be in line for his NHL-leading 10th shutout of the season.
