NHL Betting: Kings vs Coyotes Odds Game 5

The Phoenix Coyotes avoided elimination on Sunday, but the road is still uphill as they need to win
the next three to advance to the STANLEY Cup finals. Coyotes and LA Kings will meet for game five on
Tuesday at Jobing.com Arena at 9 PM ET.

Phoenix played an awesome game four as they controlled the Kings powerful offense – at least in the
playoffs- and managed to score when needed to win the first game of the series. “We recognize we put
ourselves in a tough position, (but) we also know it has been done,” said Shane Doan, Phoenix’s captain
since 2003.

“I guess that’s what sports are all about, trying to do something that someone hasn’t done for a while,
try to do things (when) the odds are kind of stacked against you,” Doan added. “Nobody wants to be in
the position we’re in, but everybody wants to prove they can answer that call.”

The comeback from 0-3 in the series to win it has been done in each of the last two years, but it hard to
believe this could become a regular- every year situation.

“Phoenix played a really good game and came out hard,” Kings defenseman Matt Greene said. “They
got a big power-play goal against us there, and they got a big faceoff goal. Smith was awesome tonight.
They played well, and we can play better. We need to respond better than that.”

The Kings are -128 favorites in the moneyline, and Coyotes +116. Because of the regained confidence I
would take Phoenix to win game five.
