Mehmet Oz is -185 to become the Republican candidate for a Senate seat in the state of Pennsylvania. The celebrity doctor was booed mercilessly by a MAGA crowd at a Friday rally despite Donald Trump’s endorsement. While the former President’s support has helped springboard author J.D. Vance to the top of the polls in Ohio, Dr. Oz will need to gain serious traction with Don’s basket of deplorables to secure the nomination.
His primary opponent in the race is David McCormick (+205). The former Under Secretary of the U.S. Treasury for International Affairs has reportedly outspent Dr. Oz by $6 million last month and is running xenophobic attacks against the TV charlatan’s Turkish heritage. In a battle of two horrible human beings, we like McCormick to win the Republican seat.

Elon Musk makes ‘Yes’ a good bet
Speaking of Trump, will the 75-year-old get his Twitter account back? The social media platform permanently suspended the former host of The Apprentice in January 2021 following the attack on the U.S. Capitol. However, with Elon Musk promising to restore free speech after buying Twitter for $44 billion, Trump could return to firing off delusional, unhinged Tweets at 3am in no time.
