Chelsea (-450) vs. West Brom (+1600) (Draw +550)
Tomorrow, unbeaten Chelsea will host 13th-place West Brom at Stamford Bridge at 10:00 a.m. Eastern in the 12th fixture of the Barclays Premier League. On paper, the Blues should dispatch West Brom with ease and maintain their unblemished record.
Chelsea is the heavy favorite to win, listed at -450 in the moneyline. An unlikely West Brom victory would pay at a handsome +1600, and the draw +550.
Counting both the Premier League and the Champions League, Chelsea is unbeaten in 15 straight matches. The last time Chelsea lost in the Premier League was back in April against Sunderland (2-1). The Blues 9-2-0 record has them first in the BPL table on 29 points, four points clear of second-place Southampton.
Mourinho’s boys have also been good against the Baggies recently, with two wins and a draw in their last three. West Brom hasn’t won at Chelsea since November 2012 and, in their last five BPL matches total, have only one win. Their 3-4-4 record has them in 13th place in the table with 13 points (3W, 4D, 4L).
In Chelsea’s last match, they took the full three points on the road against Liverpool (2-1); whereas West Brom was blanked at home by a mediocre Newcastle side.
While Chelsea’s undefeated streak will eventually have to end, it won’t be this week. Look for Chelsea to breeze past West Brom at home.
