Villarreal vs. Manchester United
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a Champions League winner with Manchester United as a player, is in his first final since taking charge of the club after Jose Mourinho was sacked in 2018. The Norwegian has been a bit snakebit of late, losing four semifinals of major tournaments in the last 18 months.
When he looks across the pitch in Poland he will see the most successful coach in the history of the Europa League. After dispatching of his former employers in Arsenal in the semifinal, Villarreal boss Unai Emery is aiming for his fourth Europa League title. He won three straight with Sevilla and then took Arsenal to the final two years ago.

Matchup preview and picks
Manchester United (-132), the betting favorite to bring the trophy back to Old Trafford, are in the midst of playing an unheard of four matches in eight days, but don’t expect conditioning to be an issue on Wednesday, May 26. Needing only four points from their last five matches to confirm their Champions League place, Solskjaer said he plans to field under-strength teams in those games and it is “not his problem” if his lineup decisions impact the battle for Champions League places.
The Red Devils are facing Villarreal for only the fifth time in history, and strangely enough, all four of their past meetings ended in a 0-0 draw. Going back to the Round of 32, Villarreal has held opposing teams scoreless in five of eight Europa Cup contests. If that’s not incentive to take the UNDER on 2.5 goals, we don’t know what is.

While we expect a low-scoring match, Man U has more than enough talent to bulge the twine with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Edinson Cavani and Paul] Pogba. Having hit their stride of late, we like the Reds to capture a tight 1-0 victory over Emery and Villarreal.
