Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek favored at 2025 Women’s French Open

  • Aryna Sabalenka (+225) and Iga Swiatek (+250) are the favorites to win the women’s French Open
  • Coco Gauff has reached at least the quarter-finals in her past four appearances in Paris
  • Roland Garros Stadium in Paris, France will host the women’s event from May 25 to June 8, 2025

Despite being the three-time reigning French Open champion and winning four of the past five titles in Paris, Iga Swiatek is not the chalk pick in Roland Garros. Instead, world no. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is favored to win her third major this June.

Before we examine the latest betting odds on the 2025 French Open, here’s where you can find the best Tennis Betting Sites 2025.

Sabalenka favored over Swiatek

Aryna Sabalenka (+225) just captured the 20th singles title of her career in Madrid. While the Belarusian has won 34 of her 40 matches this season, Iga Swiatek (+250) suffered early exits in both Stuttgart and Rome this year. In fact, the ‘queen of clay’ hasn’t made a final since winning at Roland Garros last year.

Can Poland’s former world no. 1 get back on track and become the first woman to ever win four straight French Open titles? Or will Sabalenka continue her hot play on clay and be victorious in Paris for the first time?

Other contenders in Paris

Coco Gauff (+600) has advanced to the quarter-finals in her past four French Open appearances, including a trip to the 2022 final at age 18. The 2023 US Open champion has also played well on clay this season, reaching consecutive WTA 1000 finals in Madrid and Rome.

Mirra Andreeva (+600) is available at the exact same odds as Gauff despite having lost to the American in straight sets twice in the last three weeks. On the plus side, the 18-year-old Russian reached the semi-finals last year.

Best Longshots

Jasmine Paolini (+1400) made two surprising runs to the French Open and Wimbledon finals last year. The 29-year-old Italian defeated Gauff for the Italian Open title in May and has a 10-2 record on clay this season.

Qinwen Zheng (+1600) hasn’t played great tennis this season, but she won the gold medal in Paris just nine months ago. The 22-year-old also stunned Sabalenka at the Italian Open earlier in May.

Other notables

Madison Keys (+3300) captured her first major at the 2025 Australian Open in January. The 30-year-old American’s best result at Roland Garros was a semi-final appearance back in 2018. Other than Swiatek, Jelena Ostapenko (+3300) and Barbora Krejcikova (+10000) are the only two women in the field that have won this tournament.

Best Bet

Fresh off a ninth WTA 1000 title, Aryna Sabalenka (+225) is no doubt the safest bet to win this event. However, while we favor the 27-year-old over Swiatek, Coco Gauff (+600) offers the best value given her recent strong play and history of success at the tournament.
