  • Carlos Alcaraz (+125) and Jannik Sinner (+175) are the favorites to win the 2025 French Open
  • Novak Djokovic (+1200) aims for his fourth championship at Roland Garros at age 38
  • Roland Garros Stadium hosts the men’s tournament from May 25 to June 8, 2025

Carlos Alcaraz aims for his second-straight French Open championship, continuing the legacy of countryman Rafael Nadal, who won 14 men’s singles titles at Roland Garros. However, the Spaniard will face major competition from Jannik Sinner, who’s back in action after a three-month doping ban.

Before we examine the latest betting odds on the 2025 French Open, here’s where you can find the best Tennis Betting Sites 2025.

Alcaraz or Sinner?

Carlos Alcaraz (+125) is the slight favorite in Paris after defeating Jannik Sinner (+175) on his home turf at the Italian Open. The reigning French Open champion was also victorious at Monte Carlo, giving him two of the three ATP Masters 1000 clay titles. He has a 15-1 win-loss record on the surface this year.

Prior to losing to Alcaraz in the Italian Open final, Sinner dropped just one set in the tournament. The 23-year-old has won tennis’ last two majors, the 2025 Australian Open and the 2024 US Open. He also lost a five-set semifinal battle against Alcaraz at Roland Garros last year.

Djokovic returns to Paris

Novak Djokovic (+1200) earned his first Olympic gold medal in Paris just nine months ago, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets (7-6, 7-6). The 24-time Grand Slam champion also defeated the young Spaniard at the Australian Open quarterfinals earlier this year before a torn hamstring ended his run.

Since then, the legendary Serbian has had a rough season, winning no titles and splitting from coach Andy Murray. At age 38, there’s no question his best tennis is behind him, but could Djojokic make an improbable run to a 4th French Open title?

Can anyone else contend?

Alexander Zverev (+900) finished second to Sinner at the Australian Open in January and second to Alcaraz at Roland Garros in 2024. Still looking for his first major title, the world No. 3 has made it to at least the semi-finals in the past four French Open events. Could the lanky German finally get it done this year?

Best Longshot

Lorenzo Musetti (+2500) has made three semi-final runs in clay-court 1000s this season. With tremendous court coverage and the ability to put heavy topspin on his shots, the 23-year-old Italian has the perfect game for the surface. Expect Musetti to make another semi-final run in Roland Garros with only Holger Rune and Taylor Fritz standing in his way in Quarter 3.

Best Bet

Jannik Sinner (+175) has dropped four consecutive matches to Alcaraz, but his Spanish rival is prone to up and down play. If the two meet in the final, the Italian won’t be as rusty as he was in Rome, where he actually had two break points to win the first set versus Alcaraz.

We’ll take Sinner to win his third-consecutive major at the French Open.
