Aryna Sabalenka vs. Ons Jabeur
Aryna Sabalenka is cruising through Wimbledon this year – reaching the quarter-finals for the first time in her career. The world number two opens as a slight favourite over Ons Jabeur, who also is in the quarter-finals for the first time in her career.
The two have split their first two meetings – with Sabalenka winning on the hardcourt and Jabeur winning on clay. Jabeur’s been on a tear lately playing on grass – winning the Birmingham Classic only a few weeks ago. She now has won 10 of her last 11 matches on grass.
There is an opportunity to bet on Ons Jabeur here as the underdog. Even though Sabalenka is a higher-ranked player, she does have a tendency to double fault (leading all players with 166 in 2020). That issue could hurt her in a match against one of the hottest tennis players right now.
Angelique Kerber vs. Karolina Muchova
Former world number one and 2018 Wimbledon winner Angelique Kerber is back into the quarter-finals, where she faces world no. 19 Karolina Muchova. The two players faced each other twice in 2019 – with Kerber winning both matches.

Both results for Kerber came on the hard surface – where you could argue Muchova is a better player. Wimbledon is on grass – Kerber’s best playing surface as she can incorporate her strength of defending serves and her strength at the net to cause balls to drop quickly and softly. We like Kerber to beat Muchova and advance to the semi-finals.
Karolina Pliskova vs. Viktorija Golubic
Viktorija Golubic continues her improbable run at the 2021 Wimbledon Tournament with a match against number eight ranked Karolina Pliskova. Golubic is coming off a big victory over Madison Keys (in straight sets) to set up her third match this tournament against a top-30 player in the world.
Golubic is getting some respect from the BetOnline tennis betting odds – opening the match as a relatively modest underdog despite ranking 56 spots behind Pliskova.
These two have not matched up in a tournament since 2016 – a year that they did twice. Golubic won both matches in three sets 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. We think that Golubic can keep it going and win for a third time against Pliskova to advance to the 2021 Wimbledon Semi-Finals.
Denis Shapovalov vs. Karen Khachanov
After missing the 2021 French Open, Denis Shapovalov is back at a Grand Slam and looking to beat his previous best result – a quarter-finals appearance at the 2020 US Open. Shapovalov’s path to the quarter-finals includes victories over Bautista-Agut and former Wimbledon champion Andy Murray.
Karen Khachanov and Denis Shapovalov have met once in their careers – with Shapo coming up as the victory in the semi-finals at the 2019 Davis Cup. Denis has won six of his last seven matches on grass.
Denis is one of the best young players in the game. The 22-year old Canadian has been competitive in many tournaments already and looks like he has the potential to be one of the top players in the game in about five years. We like him to beat Khachanov and advance in Wimbledon
Novak Djokovic vs. Marton Fucsovics
It has been nothing but domination from Djokovic after he lost his first set against Jack Draper (in the first round). Since that loss, he has not dropped a set, easily making his way to the quarter-finals. It is the third time Fuscovics will take on Djokovic. Djokovic won the first two meetings, with Fuscovics taking a set off the world number one.

We feel a little foolish picking Kevin Anderson to upset Djokovic in the second round and do not plan to bet against the world number in this matchup. We suggest you parlay Novak with another one of our picks to get a little extra juice on your wager.
Matteo Berrettini vs. Felix Auger Aliassime
Two top-20 men’s players face off with a chance to make the 2021 Wimbledon Semi-Finals. Felix Auger Aliassime is coming off an impressive five-set win against number four player Alexander Zverev and will now face world no. seven Matteo Berrettini.
These guys have faced each other once in their careers – a straight-set win by Matteo in 2019. The second set did go 11 tiebreakers proving this should be exciting and evenly matched.
Since we think both guys in this match have the skills to win it, we are going with the underdog Aliassime to advance. Aliassime was only 18 years old when he forced 11 tiebreakers, and in the two years since, he has only improved as a player.
