UFC 163 – Jose Aldo vs The Korean Zombie

Brazilian Jose Aldo will be on his fifth defense of the UFC Featherweight Championship this Saturday, when he takes on β€˜the Korean Zombie’, Chan Sung Jung, in a 5 rounds clash, at the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

aldo-vs-jungAldo is the best fighter is this category, but he won’t have an easy contest against the Korean. Sung Jung thinks he has a shot.

“I think he has a weakness on the ground,” Jung said in Korean. “I will be pushing for it. I’m sure I will defeat Jose Aldo. It’s been my goal from the beginning of my MMA career. I never give up before reaching a goal. But, it won’t be easy.”

Aldo (22-1) is currently on a 15 fights winning streak. Sung Jung is 13-3 and basically is here because Anthony Pettis is injured.

The Brazilian agreed to fight Pettis in August, but he can think of that right now.

“I want to focus on my fight, then we’ll worry about a potential move,” said Aldo, during a conference call. “I don’t want to take too big of a step. I respect my opponent.”

“I was already in the groove,” he said as he was getting ready for Pettis before they change him for Sung Jung. “I was prepared and I had to make a few adjustments, but I feel fine.”

The UFC Odds have Aldo as the huge favorite in the moneyline -800 and β€˜the Korean Zombie’ listed +500.
