UFC 168 Odds- Silva vs Weidman 2

After acting like a showoff in the first meeting and leaving with humiliating loss, Anderson Silva looks for revenge against Chris Weidman, this Saturday December 28th at the MGM Grand – Las Vegas, Nevada.

“It’s definitely a big fight,” Silva said. “It’s an important fight. It’s something people have been waiting to watch. They want confirmation that Chris is the real deal. But a fight is a fight.

Weidman is 10-0 on his career and will defend his UFC middleweight title for the first time. He snapped a 16 winning streak from Silva when he beat him the last time.

“I think he’s the best guy in the weight class for me to beat,” Weidman said. “He’s the greatest of all time. He’s a guy most people think I can’t beat, and that gives me a drive. That’s what I want.”

Silva thinks this is a great opportunity to show his best movesn and regain the title

“From the moment that a fight ends, that fight is in the past, win or lose,” Silva said. “Even when I was winning my fights, once it’s over, it’s over. It’s in the past, and you’ve got to look forward. It’s no different with this fight. When it was over, it was over, and now I’m looking forward to the next one.”

Anderson Silva is listed as the favorites in the UFC Odds paying his victory -170; meanwhile Chris Weidman is listed +140.  The rounds total is at 2.5.
