UFC 177 Early Odds, Dillashaw vs Barao

There’s still one month left for UFC 177 to arrive, but I think is a good time to take a look at the UFC betting odds for the night.

The main event, of course, is the most attractive fight in the lineup and will have TJ Dillashaw taking on the machine Renan Barao, whose name have grown over the last year and a half and has become one of the most respected fighters in the UFC.

Barao has 34-2-0 record on his resume, but on his last outing he lost his title precisely against TJ Dillashaw and wants it back.

“I remember everything that happened until that point,” Barao said. “After [that punch], I only woke up in the locker room. The fight was really close in the beginning, but everything changed after that punch.

“He landed a heavy punch in the beginning of the fight, and I kept fighting on autopilot,” Barao continued. “I was too slow; I wasn’t thinking. [Coach Andre Pederneiras] told me to do one thing, and I did another. But I will fight smart this time, I won’t let this happen again.”

TJ Dillashaw is 11-2-0 on his career, but his biggest win came against the Brazilian; the last time he lost was against Raphael Assuncao on October 9th in a split decision.

The UFC 177 money line listed TJ Dillashaw as the main favorite to retain the title paying -153, while Barao is +133.
