How the Betting Simulator works

The simulator is a simple, step-by-step mini experience that mirrors how betting works on a real sportsbook, just with play money.

1) Pick your sport
Start by choosing NBA, NFL, NHL, or MLB. The widget then generates a fresh set of virtual matchups for that sport.

2) Choose a matchup (3 options each round)
You’ll see three matchup cards. Click one to open its betting panel.

3) Pick your market: Spread, Moneyline, or Total
Each matchup includes the three main bet types:

  • Moneyline: pick the team you think will win.
  • Spread: pick a team with a points handicap.
  • Total: bet over or under a game total.

4) Select your exact bet and enter your stake
Click an option (like Team A -3.5, Team B ML, or Over 214.5). The widget instantly updates Potential Winnings (Profit) based on your stake and odds.
Your demo bankroll starts at $1,000, and the stake is capped by your current balance.

5) Place the bet, then watch the game simulation
Once your bet is selected and the stake is valid, the “Place Bet” button activates. You’ll get a short countdown, then the game plays out with:
